A school council is a group of children who have been selected by their peers to act as representatives. These representatives communicate pupil voice to adults in the school.
"Pupil voice at its best"
At Sandon, our School council works together to help make the school a better place. Pupils share their ideas and suggestions with their class representatives and these points are discussed at meetings.
In our school we have two pupils from each year group on our school council. We have 14 members altogether. We encourage our school council to talk to their peers and note their ideas for not only improving our school, but for helping the wider community.
